Originally an illustrated print on a Japanese Woodblock by artist Hiroshige, the Tanabata Festival is one of the most prominent festivals to take place in the summer months.
Within the print, you can see one of the many Tanabata traditions, where you write wishes on colourful pieces of paper and hang them on the branches of a small decorative bamboo tree. Did you know many of the traditions are still commonly celebrated today?
A very cultured and historical jigsaw puzzle for adults, full of depth and story.
